About the Speakers

Terry Vodery Black is Program Director at the Delaware Alliance for Nonprofit Advancement (DANA), where she leads the Nonprofit Accelerator, helping organizations strengthen leadership, strategy, and long-term sustainability. With more than 20 years of experience in fundraising and nonprofit leadership, Terry has guided organizations in building capacity, cultivating donor relationships, and securing philanthropic support. She is recognized for her collaborative approach, practical expertise, and commitment to advancing Delaware’s nonprofit sector by equipping leaders with the tools, confidence, and connections needed to thrive.

Stephanie Cory, CAP®, CFRE | Principal, Stephanie Cory Consulting | Stephanie has dedicated her career to the nonprofit sector for more than 20 years. She has served as an executive director and development director before focusing on consulting. Stephanie authored a chapter on boards and fundraising for the second and third editions of The Handbook of Board Governance. She is a Certified Fundraising Executive and Chartered Advisor in Philanthropy. Stephanie has more than 30 years’ cumulative service as a board member, including as president of the AFP Brandywine Chapter.
